Rations and Feed Delivery

Rations are specially formulated by our consultant nutritionist, to provide the optimal nutrition for your cattle. Quality control measures such as daily testing of ration dry matter content as well as regular scientific analysis of our rations are used. Grain is steam flaked to gain the best possible starch utilisation for your cattle.

At Smithfield, we offer precision and integrity in our feeding system - cattle are fed the same ration, presented in the same manner, at the same time, in the correct quantity each day. This precision is effective in maximising animal production, through minimising fluctuations or change.
