There is a sense of satisfaction in knowing where my grain is going and who is using it. Smithfield Feedlot are high end users of grain, which works well for me, as I can deliver as soon as it is harvested, eliminating the need for storage on my property. I have a symbiotic relationship with Smithfield, in that when I deliver grain, I am able to collect a backload of manure for my property.
